Is Ayurveda for you?

Are you struggling with health issues? Do you just not feel like yourself?

Most of us have some toxins in our bodies, whether it comes from pollutants, chemicals, additives, poor diet or lifestyle choices. Ayurveda refers to these toxins as Ama. Ama literally translates to mean unripe, uncooked, undigested. Essentially it is a form of waste that the body can’t use. A small amount of Ama is a normal part of the digestive process however when this isn’t eliminated naturally and a build-up is formed then this Ama becomes hugely problematic.

In fact, ama is said to be the root cause of all disease.

Signs of Ama are.

  • Feeling Heavy

  • Fatigue

  • Indigestion

  • Bloating, gas, flatulence

  • Irregular or impaired appetite

  • Foul smelling stools

  • Clogging of the channels, sinus congestion, lymph congestion, constipation

  • General aches & pains

  • Stiff joints

  • Lustreless skin

  • White coating on tongue

  • Metallic taste in the mouth

  • Mental confusion

  • unenthusiastic

If these symptoms are left intreated then Ama may continue to build up and eventually spread through our channels and enter organs. This is when we see common diseases listed below appearing.

  • Acne

  • Atherosclerosis (blocked arteries)

  • Bacterial infections

  • Blocked arteries

  • Candida albicans

  • Cysts

  • Diabetes

  • Elevated blood sugar
